Update - January 4, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
First of
all I would like to wish all my fellow Kerovnians and readers
of this website a belated happy new year!
Speaking
of the new year - with it comes a brand new update. I have expanded
the "Goodies" section of "The Pawn". Now
you can take a closer look at the goodies that came with the
game, like the "A Tale Of Kerovnia" novel, the "The
Pawn" poster or the various disks and cassettes (of some)
of the different platforms the game was released on. The rest
of the games will be treated in a similar manner in the near
future. I hope you enjoy the update.

Update - December 12, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
Here's another
quick update. This time I have replaced the existing scan of
the "Myth" 'box' and goodies with a fresh one of higher
quality, as I was not happy at all with the old scan. Like I
said before, not a huge update, but nevertheless a definite
improvement to the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles. More updates
will follow ...

Update - December 7, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
Not the
biggie I had hoped to provide you with (we're still working
on it), this update adds a few reviews of "Myth" to
the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles. As usual you can access those
by either clicking here
or by going to the "Text" section of the "Myth"-pages.
More reviews for "Fish!", "Wonderland" and
"The Magnetic Scrolls Collection Vol. One" will follow
shortly.

Update - October 14, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
I hope you
have lots of time for reading these days, as with this update
I have added tons of reviews of "Corruption" to the
Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles pages. If you feel like reliving
them olden days by reading those "Corruption" reviews
taken from various gaming magazines of the time, either click
here or head straight to the "Text" section of
the "Corruption"-pages.
A quick
teaser to wet the gentle readers' appetites - if everything
works out according to plan (and I hear the cynics amongst you
say, when does it ever?), then one of the next few updates of
the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles *might* be another exclusive
biggie ... and that's all I'm going to say for now, so don't
even *think* about e-mailing me with all those questions, 'narmean?
;-)

Update - September 18, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
I have added
some more content to the Articles-section of the Magnetic Scrolls
Chronicles - the infamous "Message In A Microchip"
article which was originally published in issue number 55 of
Crash magazine. Since everyone and their grandmother dealing
with Magnetic Scrolls are hosting this article on their respective
webpages I was at first rather reluctant to also feature it
on the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles webpages, but since it's
such a great article I finally had to give in to temptation.
Besides, a webpage dealing with Magnetic Scrolls wouldn't feel
complete without this little gem, narmean?
Anyway,
without further ado - here it is ... the 'Message
in a Microchip'. Enjoy!

Update - September 14, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
I have made
a few layout adjustments to the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles,
as some of the content on here was not displayed properly when
accessing the pages with the Apple Safari and Google Chrome
browsers. All the pages should now display in the correct layout
when using these browsers. Thank you to all the people who made
me aware of the problem. Should you still encounter some problems
when trying to access the content on these pages, send me an
e-mail and I
will look into the matter.
However,
these corrections and adjustments do not address possible display
problems when visiting this place using resolutions lower than
the recommended screen resolution of 1280*1024 pixels.
Have fun
exploring the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles. Until the next update.

Update - July 23, 2008
Fellow Kerovnians!
Once
again it's interview time at the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles!
This time
I've had the pleasure of talking to Peter Kemp, another co-author
of Magnetic Scrolls' venture into the aquatic realms of "Fish!".
Like Phil South, Peter was kind enough to agree to do an exclusive
interview for the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles. Peter has turned
out to be a real fountain of knowledge in terms of interactive
fiction and the good old pioneering days of home computers and
computer gaming.
The
highly interesting result of this conversation can be accessed
by clicking here, so if you want to find out all about the
good old computer-gaming days, the making of 'Fish!' and Peter's
time working for Magnetic Scrolls, head over to the articles
section and start reading.
A huge "Thank
You" goes out to Peter Kemp for his contribution to the
Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles and for being such an interesting
and highly enjoyable interview partner! As
always, if you, dear reader, feel like sharing your thoughts
on the interview, send me an e-mail
or post them on the Message
Board.
Peter was
also kind enough to send me his official Magnetic Scrolls T-shirt.
I will post photos as soon as I get my hands on a decent camera.
My sincerest thank you's go out to Peter for this absolutely
priceless gift.
In other
news - the news from May 15 to July 20, 2008 have been archived
and can be viewed by going to the News
Archive.
Well then,
that's it for today's update. Happy reading and enjoy the interview.
Until the next time!
